John Rogers, DDS, FICOI
Our Broken Arrow, OK Dentist Places & Restores Dental Implants
I decided to become a dentist because I myself enjoyed going to the dentist when I was younger. I actually think that probably drives a lot of what we do here at the office, because I had such a good experience when I was growing up, going to see the dentist and see the hygienist, that we try to recreate that. We hear a lot of really unfortunate negative stories about bad experiences in the dental chair, and we do everything we can to create the exact opposite experience for our patients. I think that's really important because the patient who comes in and is kind of hopeless, they've had lots of bad experiences or maybe they've been told that there's little that can be done, and when we can provide them some hope and a direction to restore their smile, especially in a situation where they thought it was unattainable, that's the most rewarding part of the job, especially when you get to that end result and you see a patient who used to cover their mouth when they would laugh actually smiling openly. You just can't beat that.

Like many dentists, Dr. Rogers has an artistic side. He received a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Oklahoma before graduating from the school’s College of Dentistry. He has been practicing dentistry since 2010.
He modeled his approach to dentistry on his childhood dentist, who had a significant impact on his life by making his early dental visits enjoyable and comfortable. His goal is to ensure every patient feels comfortable with him and the entire LakeCrest Dental team. He makes sure all our patients are greeted with a warm and welcoming smile – and that this warmth continues throughout their visit.
Dr. Rogers has attained fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the world’s largest dental implant organization. He loves transforming patients’ smiles by both placing and restoring implants and through other treatments as well. He is especially thrilled when he restores the confidence of patients who have spent years not being able to chew, smile, or even speak comfortably.
Away from the office, Dr. Rogers loves to travel so he can see what different cities have to offer. A self-described foodie, he especially enjoys finding great places to eat. As an OU graduate, he loves OU football and attends as many home games as possible. Go Sooners! He has two schnauzers that he spoils with lots of love and attention. He is family oriented and believes all these things are better with family.
