As a child, I had a bad dental experience. That was back in Russia when I was very little. I just became terrified of dentists. I really didn't want to go back, and it took me a very long time to overcome that. Now, I decided to become a dentist so that people don't have to go through that, so that they can have a much better experience. My goal is to change their way of thinking of dentistry. There's no need to be afraid. I'm going to try to make it the best, most comfortable experience they can possibly have and hopefully turn their fears around.
I think the most rewarding part of being a dentist is allowing people to reach their best state of oral health through raising their self-esteem, helping them get rid of pain, and most importantly, helping them keep their teeth for their entire life. Sometimes we get patients that come into our clinic, and they are scared of smiling. They cover up their mouth. They feel like they can't really perform as good as they could at their jobs. Their everyday life is really affected.
What I can do for them is first of all, get them healthy, get them out of pain, and most importantly, create that beautiful smile so that they can feel like a new person. I've had a few cases that have been truly life changing. Once people gain that smile, they feel better, they look great, they feel like they can pursue other things, and they don't have to worry about what their smile looks like, and they just ... they feel great.
Experience matters when it comes to maintaining your smile. That’s why you’ll love knowing that Dr. Kristina Rogozhkina has extensive training and hands-on experience in so many areas of dentistry.
